About RMIT University

RMIT University traces its origins to the Working Men's College, established in Melbourne on 7 June 1887 through the philanthropy of Francis Ormond. Today RMIT describes itself as a global university of technology, design and enterprise, with its Melbourne City campus located at 124 La Trobe Street in the heart of the CBD.

RMIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs across technology, design, business, communication, engineering, health and biomedical sciences, and vocational education. The university also operates campuses at Bundoora and Brunswick in Melbourne and has a significant international presence including campuses in Vietnam.
